What began as an interest in the health and fitness industry soon became a purpose. After years of trial and error with dieting and exercise, Juliana fell into a plateau. Dieting turned into binging and constant high-impact exercise ended in results of frustration, decreased motivation, poor mentality and over-training. Why? Because there was no balance with nutrition, exercise, hobbies, but most importantly, no balance enjoying life. That’s how Balanced Core was named; How to balance all aspects of life. 

It starts with the core, the deep muscles that allow functional movement and stabilization throughout the entire body. A strong core improves posture and athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury. But the core also resembles ourselves and what we enjoy most. It’s unique to you. Take a moment of reflection. Are there hobbies you’re passionate about, but don’t do any longer? What is stopping you? Life is about balance. Balancing the most important aspects, your unique core.

That was the missing piece needed from the start and is what Balanced Core emphasizes. At Balanced Core, it’s all about you and your goals. Whether it’s to increase strength, build muscle, lose weight, increase endurance, Balanced Core will help you achieve that. A specific program will be designed for each client based on his or her needs and goals. These may include but are not limited to Functional Movement Screening, Weightlifting, Olympic lifting, High Intensity Interval Training, SAQ Training (Speed, Agility, Quickness), Corrective Exercise and Flexibility. 

Balanced Core is all-inclusive training and a program can be specifically designed for Special Populations such as Asthma, Chronic diseases, Diabetes, Hypertension, Injuries (past and present), Obesity, Postpartum, Pregnancy, Seniors and Youth.

Individual or Group Training sessions are offered at your home, outdoors, office or online.
